So hooked on this series!
So hooked on this series! Between the sister dynamic between May and Kerry along with the mystery of their missing sister Lauren, I am dying to know what happened! In this installment we start to see May get more confident in her abilities and stepping outside of the shadow of Kerry, while also starting to develop and realize feelings for Owen and a life of her own past her family’s expectations. I feel like I live for the end of the book where we get a little snippet of Lauren’s disappearance and the potential of a break in her case, and I find that I like that more than the actual mystery of the book itself.

I wanted to rate it higher but…
I enjoyed the plot and characters of thus book and will definitely read more of the series. However, I wish the writing itself was more sophisticated, fluid and less redundant.
