Publisher Description
From New York Times bestselling author Cathryn Fox comes a plan for revenge that quickly turns into a battle against giving in to pleasure!
I never thought a meeting for my upcoming fashion enterprise would lead to me sitting at an auction, watching women of high society strutting back and forth, their company up for bid at exorbitant amounts. Frankly, it just doesn’t interest me. That is, until I see her. Londyn Harding, the little rich girl who stabbed me in the back all those years ago. I will win her, but I can’t forget the rules: no touching unless she allows it.
Now we have a full two weeks together at my chalet in Cannes, and I’m looking for more than just payback. I want answers. Like why someone whose betrayal made her daddy millions would need to sell herself. How she can look so hurt when she’s the one who tore my heart out. And if there’s any way I can get her out of my system without getting too close to her. I’ve been hurt before and I refuse to let it happen again.
Take control. Feel the rush. Explore your fantasies—Harlequin DARE publishes sexy romances featuring powerful alpha males and bold, fearless heroines exploring their deepest fantasies.

Steamy goodness
This sizzling hot second chance romance was just the thing I needed to chase away the rainy days chills! Londyn and Cason have plenty of unfinished business after the way they parted in college, both thinking the worst of each other.
But after a chance encounter at an auction, they have the opportunity to repair those hurts through a new-found appreciation of each other, as well as some very steamy alone time. I really appreciated how the author allowed them to grow without a constant rehash of hurt feelings and past accusations being thrown around. It’s a device often used in second chance stories that does nothing to promote a new couple. Ms. Fox shows that she does not need to rely this plot point to move her story and her characters forward.
I enjoyed Cason and Londyn, as individuals as much as I did as a couple. And meeting younger sister Peyton not only gave the reader further insight into Cason’s protective nature, but I’m hoping it set her up for her own love story!
