Animal Farm
i got the overarching themes of this novel but i forgot to take in the historical context of when this was written (it was released in 1945 ahem) though much of the story can still be relevant today as dictatorships won't be going away anytime soon!
i'm glad i got to reading this in my mid 20s cause i think if i were forced to read this in school i would have lacked the intellectual capacity and life experience to understand what it all meant.
it was ok
i had to read this for school but i still think it was pretty ok. i enjoyed the symbolism and allegories to real people from the russian revolution. but its js not the type of book i like to read and it felt kinda slow at times.
