Publisher Description

Over 8 million copies sold around the world. The original book from Morgan Housel, the New York Times bestselling author of Same As Ever.

Doing well with money isn't necessarily about what you know. It's about how you behave. And behavior is hard to teach, even to really smart people.

Money – investing, personal finance, and business decisions – is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don't make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together.

In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money and teaches you how to make better sense of one of life's most important topics.

This book was spot on.

The book was funny, forward about money and very informative about how we look at money and how we behave when we have lots or little of it. We have come a long way when we choose to be more responsible the way we save and the way we spend. Yet sometimes we get overwhelmed when our wants exceed our needs.

Change the way you think about wealth

What is your definition of wealth? Changing the way you think about money and wealth will make you much happier. It will also make you wealthier. That is the message author Morgan Housel is trying to impart on you with his bestseller The Psychology of Money.

Do you want to be rich? Do you want financial freedom? It’s more of a mindset than a number. This book does offer some good advice such as control your spending, avoid financial ruin and think long-term. And if you think like Housel does you should have no problems financially.
