Dr Billy Garvey is a senior specialist at one of the world's biggest and most prestigious paediatric hospitals. With over twenty years' experience working with families, he wants to reassure parents that there is no such thing as a bad child and that much of what he tells families in clinic is based on the same principles he outlines in this book. Regardless of whether you have a young child or a teen on the brink of adulthood, by understanding the foundations of good mental health you will be able to help them to thrive at any stage in their development.

Developing Parent
Thank you, Dr. Billy Garvey!
This book is going to help guide me to be a better parent and to help me meet the needs of Little Foot
Every parent should read and re-read this book
Hands down the BEST parenting book I’ve ever read. It would be amazing to have read this for the first time prior to having kids but even having an 8 and a 6 year old, I had epiphanies that I wouldn’t have otherwise had and I gained hope that I can improve things I’ve mucked up with my kids in the past. All is not lost… read this book!
For the parents of the next generation.
This book gave me hope, I can change the past but this book has guided me to support my children at all stages of their journey.
